Gather identity proof, address proof, business registration certificate, and brand logo image. If applying through a consultant, prepare a TM-48 authorization form.File the Application (Form TM-A)
Submit the trademark application online through the IP India E-Filing Portal using a Class 3 Digital Signature Certificate (DSC).Pay Government Fees
The official fee is ₹4,500 for individuals/startups and ₹9,000 for companies or LLPs, per class.Get the Acknowledgment Number
Once submitted, an acknowledgment number is generated, allowing you to start using the ™ symbol immediately.Examination by Trademark Office
The Registrar examines your application for distinctiveness and conflicts with existing marks.Publication in Journal
If approved, your mark is published in the Trademark Journal for public opposition (4-month period).Registration & Certificate
If there are no objections, your trademark is registered, and you’ll receive the Trademark Registration Certificate, enabling you to use the ® symbol legally.
